Zipper Galeria is pleased to announce its participation on the 7th edition of UNTITLED Art Fair, which takes place from December 4th until December 9h in Miami Beach, Florida. Zipper’s booth D26 will gather a selection of works by the artists Ayrson Heráclito, Celina Portella, Fernando Velázquez, Janaína Mello Landini, João Castilho and Mario Ramiro.

Ayrson Heráclito (Brazil, 1968) is visual artist, curator and professor. His works transit between installation, performance, photography and the audiovisual, and frequently deal with elements of African-Brazilian culture and its connections with Africa and the diaspora in America.

Celina Portella (Rio de Janeiro, 1977) establishes dialogues between architecture, cinema and performance, characterizing her artistic investigation in the fields of body representation and its relation to space. Using her own body as an object of experimentation, the artist combines artisanal practices in videos, photographs and objects that challenge each media and the perception of the observer.

Fernando Velázquez (Uruguay, 1970) is a multimedia artist. He explores the relationship between nature and culture, setting up a dialogue between two main topics: the perceptive capacities of the human body and the mediation of reality by technical devices.

Janaina Mello Landini (Brazil, 1974) aggregates her knowledge of architecture, physics and mathematics and her perception on time to develop pieces that travel through different scales in the "Ciclotramas" series, made with ropes that break down into minimal threading.

João Castilho (Brazil, 1978) is a visual artist and works with photography, video, sculpting and installation. His production is inspired by cinema, literature, popular culture, the relationship with nature, as well as everyday scenes and current themes.

Mario Ramiro (Brazil, 1957) is a former member of the group of urban interventions 3NÓS3 and the Brazilian art and technology movement of the 1980s. His production brings together urban interventions, telecommunication networks, sculptures, environmental installations, photography and sound art.
